❤️ Help Us Make Someone’s Winter a Little Warmer

Imagine having to face a Kentucky winter without a warm bed, a safe place to sleep, a coat, or even a pair of dry socks.

For many people in our community, this isn't something they have to imagine. It’s their reality.

This year, KB’S Lawn & Lift LLC is stepping outside of our everyday business to do something that means so much to us personally: we’re putting together a Winter Homeless Fundraiser to help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness or struggling to afford basic necessities during the cold winter months.

We don't believe someone should have to be forgotten simply because they're going through a difficult season of life.

❄️ Our Mission

Our goal is to raise funds so we can purchase, organize, and distribute winter care packages and essential supplies to people in need throughout our community.

We want these packages to include things like:

Warm coats and jackets
Hats, gloves & scarves
Warm socks
️ Blankets and sleeping bags
Hand warmers
Toiletries and personal hygiene items
Food, snacks & bottled water
Basic first-aid and care supplies
⛺ Emergency shelter supplies when possible
Holiday gifts and comfort items
❤️ Other necessities we discover are needed along the way

But this isn't just about the items.

It's about the person receiving them.

We want someone opening one of these care packages to feel more than just warmth from a blanket or coat.

We want them to feel seen.

We want them to feel remembered.

We want them to know that someone cares.

Every Dollar Can Make a Difference

We're a small, locally owned business, and we know firsthand that every dollar counts.

That's why we're asking our community to come together with us.

You don't have to donate hundreds of dollars.

If 100 people give $5, that's $500.

If 50 people give $10, that's another $500.

If someone can't donate at all but shares this fundraiser with 10 people, that share could reach the person who can make a huge difference.

There is no donation too small, and there is no share too insignificant.

We Want to Give More Than Supplies

Winter can already be an incredibly difficult time for someone without stable housing.

Then come the holidays.

While many of us are worrying about Christmas shopping, family dinners, decorations, and gifts, there are people who are simply trying to figure out where they're going to sleep and how they're going to stay warm

We want to do whatever we reasonably can to make that burden a little lighter.

If our fundraiser grows beyond what we initially expect, we want to use that opportunity to help even more people.

More donations mean more supplies.

More supplies mean more care packages.

More care packages mean more people reached.

And more people reached means **more lives touched by a little kindness.**

How YOU Can Help

There are several ways you can become part of this mission:

❤️ DONATE

Whatever amount you're comfortable giving will help us purchase supplies for people who need them.

SHARE

Can't donate right now? **Please share this fundraiser.** Seriously. Sharing costs nothing and could be one of the most important things you can do to help us reach our goal.

DONATE ITEMS

We're also accepting donations of winter necessities and supplies that can be included in our care packages.

BECOME A SPONSOR

Local businesses, organizations, churches, groups, and individuals who want to make a larger contribution can help sponsor supplies, care packages, or portions of the fundraiser.

VOLUNTEER

As the fundraiser progresses, we'll need help organizing supplies, preparing care packages, and distributing them to those in need.

This Is Bigger Than Our Business

When we started KB’S Lawn & Lift LLC, our mission was simple:

“YOUR TO-DO LIST IS OUR MISSION.”

But we've learned that being a local business isn't just about mowing lawns, cleaning properties, hauling junk, or completing someone's to-do list.

It's also about being part of the community that supports us.

We want to give back to the same community that has supported our small business and our family.

We may not be able to change the entire world.

We may not be able to end homelessness.

But we can help one person.

And then another.

And another.

If one person stays a little warmer because of this fundraiser, it was worth it.

If one person has a meal because someone donated $10, it was worth it.

If one person feels remembered during a time when they feel forgotten, **it was worth it.**

❄️ So We're Asking You to Help Us Make This Winter Different.

Donate if you can.
Share if you can't.
Talk about it.
Tell your friends.
Tell your family.
Tell your coworkers.
Tell your favorite local businesses.

Help us spread this farther than we could ever reach on our own.

Because this isn't just our fundraiser.

It's OUR community coming together to help OUR neighbors. ❤️

Thank you for believing in our mission, supporting our small business, and helping us show someone that they matter.

With love,

Brianna & Keith
