Hello everyone, my name is Lorraine.

I’ve been a pet professional for 22 years — grooming, training, and caring for dogs is not just my career, it’s my passion. Many of you already know some of what my family and I have been going through.

Right now, my 8-year-old son, my mother, our four dogs, and I are staying in a Motel 6 while we try to get back on our feet. We’ve faced court battles, constant stress, and the challenge of keeping my family safe and cared for during all of this.

I’ve applied for housing assistance (I’m currently on the waiting list), I’ve been approved for EBT, and I’m doing side gigs to try to cover our nightly room cost. I’m doing everything I can to keep us going.

Unfortunately, someone I used to work with has been interfering with my ability to rebuild my grooming business — even going as far as contacting people and businesses who choose to work with me. This has made it extremely hard to earn steady income, even though I’ve worked so hard for so many years to build my reputation.

I’m staying positive, prayerful, and resilient. I just need some help to get through this chapter so I can give my family stability again. Your support would help me cover basic necessities, keep a safe roof over our heads, and allow me the chance to rest and plan for the future.

My dream is to open my own grooming shop one day — a place where I can work freely, support my family, and continue doing what I love. But right now, we simply need stability and safety.
