Over the last six months, my sister Lori has faced more challenges than anyone should have to endure at once. She recently lost her job, and soon after, she became the full-time caregiver for our dad during his final months on hospice. She gave everything she had—emotionally, physically, and financially—to make sure he was cared for with love and dignity.

Now, as she works to rebuild her life and search for a new job, another setback has occurred! The engine in her car has completely failed. Without a working vehicle, finding and securing employment becomes even harder, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.

Lori is strong, hardworking, and always the first to help others. But right now, she needs help herself. I’m creating this fundraiser to give her some stability during this incredibly painful and uncertain time—help with living expenses, car repairs or replacement, and the essentials she needs while she gets back on her feet.
