Help Lori Rebuild After Devastating Flood
Donation protected
Our dear friend Lori is a single mom and dedicated elementary school teacher who just achieved her dream of independently buying a home for her and her two daughters. But just three days after moving in, a devastating flood turned what should have been a joyful milestone into a financial and emotional storm.
What began as a small plumbing issue quickly uncovered extensive water damage throughout the home. Furniture that was just moved in needed to be moved out as the flooring and walls of the entire home needed to be removed. Both showers, plumbing systems, and pipes needed to be replaced due to improper installation and corrosion. As a result, Lori and her two children have been displaced from their home and forced to navigate costly repairs. The damage has cost tens of thousands of dollars and placed an immense burden on a family already working hard to build stability.
Lori has always been a giver—whether it’s staying late at school to support her students or showing up for her friends and neighbors. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Lori restore her home and give her children the safe, stable space they deserve. Let’s help lift the weight off her shoulders and remind her that community means never having to face hardship alone. Thank you for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a kind word. It all means the world.
