Help My Brother Meet His Hero – A Dream 22 Years in the Making

Hi, my name is Lukas. I’m writing this with a full heart and a lot of hope.

I have a brother named Lorenzo. He’s 22 years old, has cerebral palsy, uses a feeding tube, and has been fighting through life since the day he was born. Doctors told us he wouldn’t make it past age 5 — but here he is, beating the odds every single day.

Growing up, we didn’t have a lot. But we had each other, and we had WWE. Lorenzo and I used to watch every match together. We’d pretend to be the wrestlers, creating our own little world where anything was possible. His favorite has always been John Cena — not just for the wrestling, but for what he stands for: never giving up, no matter what life throws at you. That message means everything to my brother.

Over the years, Lorenzo’s collected tons of WWE DVDs. His face lights up whenever he talks about wrestling. It’s been such a big part of his joy and strength through some incredibly hard times.

This June 20th, we’re going to a WWE event in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We managed to get two nosebleed seats, which we're so excited about — but what we really want is to give Lorenzo the chance to finally meet John Cena. It’s his lifelong dream.

We can’t afford the meet-and-greet tickets or the extra costs that come with making this trip comfortable and accessible for Lorenzo. That’s why I’m reaching out for help.

We’re hoping to raise some money to cover the VIP tickets, travel, hotel, medical needs, and anything else that’ll help us make this a safe and unforgettable experience for him.

I don’t know how much time we’ll have with Lorenzo. What I do know is that he deserves this moment. He deserves to look his hero in the eyes and hear, “Never give up” from the man who’s inspired him since he was a little kid.
