Everyone who knows me personally knows I’m not one to ask for help. But this is my daughter, Logan. She has pauciarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis & uveitis. Her arthritis affects her major joints, mainly her knees ankles, hips and hands. Uveitis is inflammation in her eyes that has drastically changed her vision. She has been battling this since she was 3 years old and is now 6.
She was in remission for almost two years and she has recently had a flared up. This time it is way more aggressive.
If you personally know me, you know the last thing I would ever want to do is reach out and ask anyone for help. But this is for my little girl and she needs all the help she can get. Logans current medication still isn’t working like it should so her doctor is adding in a second injection. We are currently battling insurance for treatment and also looking into other treatments to help fight this as quickly as possible to get Logan some relief.
Her ability to walk, get in and out of the car, and other what we consider, “normal, everyday things” are becoming very challenging for her to do.
We are grateful and thankful for any little bit you are able to donate to help get the treatment and medication she needs.
