Help local Elroy family repair delapitated roof

Firstly, thank you. My name is Dylan and I'm fundraising for a family in desperate need of a new roof. Out of respect for the family I am chosing to keep them anonymous. This family recently approached a local roofing company in need of repairs. When the roofing company assessed the damage it was catastrophic; there is an actual 2 foot hole leaking water/snow from the roof into the kitchen of the small townhouse. Only a few weathered shingles remain and most of the work required will be new plywood installation to prevent leaking.

The roofing company reached out to municipal and county (Juneau) government seeking assistance to no avail. Winter is upon us and this Elroy family of 50+ years is unable to pay for the materials. The company's estimate for materials is a mere $2800. I don't usually do this sort of thing but I believe in the power of community involvement. If you have ANY questions feel free to DM me.
