I’m reaching out to ask for help for my dear friend Liz, who is in a tough spot and could really use some support. She has always been fiercely independent-someone who would rather fix her own car than ask for help. But right now, she’s facing challenges that no one should have to handle alone.

Two years ago, she became a mother, and now she is raising two beautiful little girls. Unfortunately, just four months after giving birth to her youngest, life threw her a curveball, and she suddenly found herself as a full-time single mom with no savings and no steady income.

Despite hardships, she has remained strong. She’s working hard to get recertified so she can return to work, all while balancing endless responsibilities including—family service meetings, court dates, doctor appointments for her daughters, and managing her own serious heart condition.

In 2016, she was unexpectedly diagnosed with a heart condition that required open-heart surgery and an ICD implant. She still struggles with ongoing heart issues, making reliable transportation even more critical.

Right now, her car is out of commission. Faulty breaks, dead battery, windows unable to roll up or down, with no AC and multiple other issues have left her without a safe way to get around. With two little ones depending on her, she hasn’t had the time or resources to fix it.

I want to take some weight off her shoulders by helping her get a safe, reliable used car. This would mean the world to her—giving her the freedom to get to work, attend doctor’s appointments and take care of daily errands without added stress.
