Help Liz and William's Family Stay Afloat
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
My name is Liz, and my husband is William. We have 6 children, and the point of this GoFundMe is in hopes to keep us afloat. My husband is in the hospital as well as our youngest son, Harrison.
I was in the hospital from June 4 to July 4 due to my high-risk pregnancy. I had superimposed preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. I was induced at 34 weeks and 1 day and had our sweet baby boy.
It has been a little over 3 weeks since he was born, and he is still in the NICU due to his floppy airway. Within 7-9 days, he will be transferred to a different hospital to see an ENT to see if he has Laryngomalacia (which could lead to surgery since his heart rate drops a lot during feedings).
While I was in the hospital and while on maternity leave, I was not and am not getting paid from my employer as I had to drop to part-time due to only being able to work 1-2 days a week because of my high-risk pregnancy. My husband was the breadwinner, but he’s now in the hospital not getting paid either.
Will is in the hospital because of his foot. He has type 1 diabetes and has been battling his foot for over a year; it keeps getting worse. Finally, he went to a hospital that wanted to do work on it, and today he had wound debridement, and they took a piece of bone out to do a biopsy on it. I’m not sure how long he will be in the hospital or out of work.
I’ve been driving to visit the baby as much as I can, along with visiting my husband and taking our children to and from practice (right now it’s only my oldest for color guard, soccer, and weight training), but it is getting tight.
Any amount of help would be wonderful, and if you can’t donate, prayers work! Thank you so much.
