Help little Sanad survive this genocide

Hi!

My name is Maja Hidén from Sweden and together with my friend Andréea Hara I’m helping the Gazan family named Al Jamali to get proper health care for their ten month old son, Sanad.

Sanad is 10 months old and suffers from suppurative lung disease, which is an acute destructive infection of the lungs. He was traumatically born during into Israeli aggressions and have lived his short life during constant hardship.

He has had repeated pneumonia and is genereally in a weak health condition. Sanad and his family needs to evacuate Gaza as soon as the borders open again to receive accurate health care since this condition is life threatening to a small baby.

The health care system in Gaza is on its knees after Israel bombing every existing health care unit. This means the few, barely functioning, remaining hospitals have to prioritise and use their means on the most severe cases. This means Sanad isn’t “sick enough” although if he would’ve been a child in Europe or the US he would have been acutely treated. Imagine being in the shoes of the parents, Lubna and Ahmed, being told your sick child can’t be treated.

Ahmed used to drive light weight trucks as a speditor and the family had a home filled with love, the smell of food, children laughing and playing. That home was completely bombed to bits and the family now lives in a tent in the ruins left of Gaza, the so called “Graveyard for children”.

The family has been displaced 6 times and are currently living in a tent in the Al-Zawaida area in the central part of the Gaza strip. The money will be distributed to the family directly to the family's bank account in order for them to be able to survive until the borders open again.
