Help little Robbie & his family

Hello, I'm sure many of you know our family's story by now. My name is Victoria and my fiancé is named Lu, and back in March, I had a beautiful boy we named Robert Conrad. He was born with a double inlet left ventricle, and come to find out, his left lung is working at about 70%.

Double inlet left ventricle (DILV) is a heart defect that is present from birth (congenital). It affects the valves and chambers of the heart. Babies born with this condition have only one working pumping chamber (ventricle) in their heart, our case the left ventricle which his doctors said they prefer over the right side, some good news i guess. DILV is also very rare. The condition occurs in 0.05 to 0.1 of every 1,000 live births. It accounts for about 1% of all congenital heart issues. There is a 70-80% chance of survival if early Medical intervention happens (the stage we are at now). His doctors believe with early intervention he will grow into an old man (with routine check ups of course).

This however effected more then just his heart, meaning that even with a higher caloric intake on feed he was still loosing weight faster then gaining. (at 3 months he was just fitting into newborn clothes properly) plus the added stress of his left lung being most effective and as mentioned before only inflates about 70%.

With this news and after about 3 months of life we had our first surgery where they banded his pulmonary artery. Slowly, he started getting better, gaining weight and being a happy baby once more, until July.

We were getting ready to bring me to work and he stopped breathing in his car seat on July 26th, 2025. It was a combination of not having enough body weight, like a normal 3 month old, and the stress of his heart causing a baby heart attack.

Now, with him in the hospital that long, we have been traveling back and forth (Westchester Medical about 1.5 hours away). We are still there and he's getting better, gaining the weight he needs and thriving best he can.

Today, we got a phone call stating how they want to bring in Boston Medical and see if we can bring our little 6-month-old out there to get a surgery to give him 4 chambers, which he will be able to thrive from. We are low on funds, from traveling to and from the hospital our banks have been depleting. We are asking for this money to help go towards being able to keep Robbie comfy with new clothes, toys, and whatever the hospital may say he needs. Plus, honestly, this money will help us be able to see him (gas, tolls, etc.). Plus, we will be able to save money for our personal bills as well. This fundraiser isn't just for me but for my family to be more comfortable and for Robbie to not feel alone in the hospital and for whatever else the world throws our way right now. I know in my heart of hearts, my mothers heart, thay in the end of everything he will be my happy thriving boy once more. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and share our love
