Lisa and I met when I was managing a store, and over time, I got to know her as someone who always faced life’s challenges with strength. Her journey has been unimaginably hard. From July 18th until November 4th, 2025, Lisa endured 13 surgeries on her left leg before ultimately losing it on November 4th. Just a month later, on December 10th, she had to undergo another surgery on her stump due to infection. As if that wasn’t enough, she lost her insurance at the end of December, and most recently, she lost her fiancé early one Sunday morning.

Lisa is now struggling to barely make it, facing each day with courage despite overwhelming loss and uncertainty. She is at risk of homelessness and is looking to buy a camper to have a safe place to live and start over. The funds raised here will go directly toward purchasing the camper and covering her first month’s lot rent, giving her a chance to rebuild after so much hardship.
