I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend and coworker, Lisa Fish, who recently faced an inconceivable tragedy. On May 13, 2025, she lost her home in a devastating fire; unfortunately, the loss did not end there.

Lisa and her family suffered the tragic loss of Kesey, their Australian Shepherd, as well as their two cats, Buddy and Hissey Elliott. Lisa’s mother-in-law also succumbed to the fire, which has had a lasting impact on her family. To make matters even more difficult, her husband Paul, who suffers from advanced cardiovascular disease, endured smoke inhalation. Paul has been severely affected by the immense loss, both emotionally and physically.

Despite everything she’s been through in the last four months, Lisa remains one of the kindest, most generous people I know. Lisa is always willing to step in, and she makes a point to check in on her coworkers often. Now, it’s our turn to offer her the support she provides others daily as she and her family face the days ahead.

Funds raised here will go directly to helping Lisa and her family rebuild their lives. The funds will be used for monthly bills, food, clothing, and essential supplies. It will also help them replace belongings they lost and help them get back on their feet.
