A few months ago, Lindsey began experiencing concerning health symptoms. After several inspections, her family discovered two active leaks that had caused a significant mold issue in both bathrooms. What started as a health concern quickly became a major and urgent home repair situation. Lindsey and her family now require full mold remediation, asbestos abatement, demolition of both bathrooms, and replacement of their HVAC system after toxic mold spores spread through the vents. They’ve been advised to stop using their heat and A/C. Due to the complexity of home insurance claims related to mold, active leaks, and water damage, they are facing these necessary repairs as out of pocket expenses as a single-income family.

With two toddlers, creating a safe and healthy home is their top priority.

Once repairs begin, Lindsey’s family will be without a bathroom for at least a month, relying on a portable toilet and the generosity of family and friends. All donations will go towards covering the cost of repairs, temporary living arrangements, and medical expenses. This support will help Lindsey's family restore their home, ensure a safe environment for their children, and address health concerns caused by the mold.
