Linda Gaskins is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. At 70 years old, she has already overcome breast cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer. Now, just two months into her fight with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Linda’s world was turned upside down again when her home caught fire on September 28th, 2025. In a matter of hours, she lost everything she owned—including her medications, blood pressure and diabetes machines, and the vitamins she needs for her ongoing chemo treatments.


Linda’s days are now filled with medical appointments and chemo sessions every two weeks. She’s staying with family in both Cocoa and Winter Haven, trying to keep up with her treatments while searching for a new place to call home. The fire has left her without even the most basic essentials, and rebuilding at this stage in her life is a daunting task. Despite all of this, Linda remains positive and grateful for any support.
