Help Lilith reclaim her home!

Author, filmmaker, priestess, dancer, and friend to so many, Lilith Dorsey needs your help!! She scrimped and saved for many years to purchase a home of her own and finally, just as the pandemic hit, in March 2020, her dream of many hard years finally came true. She has been writing books, reading tarot cards, living in Brooklyn, NY, for most of her life and saving every penny she's had to have a forever home, which she found in New Orleans. 

 It isn't easy for her to ask for help. Those of you who've known her for awhile, know she hasn’t reached out since her daughter Nia's murder, a tragedy which left her with PTSD and many bills. However, After saving and hoping her whole life she finally bought her first house in March 2020. 

There was a mix-up in the beginning with the financing and a larger down payment than she anticipated, and that left her with no spare funds in case of emergencies. Or a global pandemic….  But by the grace of the Goddess she managed to move anyway. Her new house is a double shotgun in New Orleans, and from the very start it was her plan to live on one side and rent out the other as a Voodoo B and B, and finally give her a steady income. 

 However the property came with a tenant. She assured Lilith from the very beginning that she was looking to move, and Lilith knew firsthand that relocating can be a difficult process, especially during a pandemic. So at the start she was as understanding as possible. Over the past year things have seriously deteriorated. The tenant refused to sign a lease or even leave a security deposit.  She has been unclean, obnoxious, not paying her share of the utilities or even her rent for the past several months.  She now owes Lilith in rent and unpaid utilities over $8,000. Lilith was counting on that income to pay her mortgage and her own bills. Lilith finally had to hire her own attorney and pay court fees so she can get her own property back. After all this she has finally agreed to be out later this month. She is looking forward to finally having her house the way she wants it. Unfortunately she now has no funds to repair the rental side of the home, which now needs deeply cleaned, as well as the replacing of damaged and stolen appliances, painting, as well as take care of all of the extra expenses she has incurred.
