Help LifeSaver Moms thru The Mother Trust Fund

This fundraiser is to begin to fill the need that was left when Mark Gietzen's plane went down over Nebraska on May 14 ending his life unexpectantly. You see Mark was the President of an organization called Kansas Coalition For Life (KCFL) and he gave his heart and soul to helping women who are in crisis over an unplanned pregnancy along with a host of other problems. He spent countless hours working to fulfill this mission doing case management, volunteer coordinating, fundraising, etc.

While we pray for Mark and his family, who will pick up the slack?

According to OR President Troy Newman - "It’s hard to say someone is irreplaceable. Mark is an irreplaceable figure. He was the hardest-working guy I know in the pro-life movement.”

Newman sat on the Kansas Coalition for Life board for a number of years and said women who were convinced by Gietzen’s outreach not to terminate their pregnancies could rely on his financial support until their children turned 18. “Basically if somebody needed rent, he would cover it. Or if someone needed their cell phone taken care of, he’d cover it,” Newman said. “If they needed a car payment or an insurance payment, money for food or diapers, rent — he’d cover it. He literally had the biggest heart of anybody I know.”

Now it is up to us to carry on the mission of reaching out to care for these brave women who choose to carry on their pregnancy in the face of uncertainty. God does not turn a blind eye to their plight but relies on us to demonstrate his compassion and show mercy.

Mark is no longer here to write the checks for the many women currently counting on KCFL to make it through. To-date there have been over 600 girls change their minds and keep their babies. Many have needed our help!!
