We are LifeAfterWreckage, a small but passionate non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives in our community, one person at a time. Today, we're asking for your help to launch something deeply important—a free after-school feeding and empowerment program for at-risk children in our area.

Why This Matters

Every day, many children in our community leave school uncertain about their next meal and unsupported in their development outside the classroom. Hunger affects concentration, behavior, and academic performance. And without positive guidance, too many kids fall through the cracks—exposed to crime, substance abuse, and hopelessness.

We believe every child deserves to be nourished, encouraged, and empowered—no matter their background or circumstances.

Our Vision

We are launching a program that will provide:

Nutritious meals every school day afternoon – so children can go home with full stomachs and full hearts.

Homework help and academic support – to bridge the education gap.

Creative and personal development activities – including arts, sports, and life skills.

Mentorship and empowerment sessions – to build confidence, leadership, and resilience.

Our Goal

To make this vision a reality, we are seeking to raise $33,000 to cover:

Food and supplies for 60+ children

Volunteer training and background checks

Educational materials and empowerment resources

Rent and utilities for the after-school center

Transportation assistance for kids who need it

This funding will allow us to operate for the first full year—and with your help, we can grow from there.
