I’m reaching out to ask for your heartfelt donations to help Lidia pay her lawyer to obtain her green card and social security. For those of you who know Lidia, you know she is a beacon of positivity, always fighting for her residency with a smile. Her unwavering spirit has touched us all deeply.

Right now, Lidia is at home, unable to walk. She has a non malignant tumor in her back that is preventing her from walking. She dreams of staying in her home of 25 years in Union City, NJ, rather than returning to Bolivia. This place holds her memories, her friends, and her heart.

My husband and I have been covering her rent, food, and some of the lawyer's costs, but we can’t manage it anymore on our own. We need to raise the final $2,000 for her lawyer, who is holding the paperwork until we can gather the funds. The process should take less than six months once we have the money, bringing Lidia closer to her dream of security and peace.
