Everyone who knows my cousin Libby knows she’s the sweetest soul and would give the shirt off her back to someone who needed it. Libby had an aneurysm (spleen removed) in her belly and an aortic valve burst.

She delivered 5 lb 1 oz Dalton Patrick Tanner at 9:30 last night, 33 weeks today. He’s beautiful but sadly will dance on streets of gold until we hold him again. Currently, machines are keeping him alive until maybe Libby can hold him. Payton has been with him all night. He’s so beautiful, just like Paxton, with a head of dark hair.

Libby is not out of the woods. She is currently sedated but somewhat conscious. She doesn’t really know yet, and God be with us, we are heartbroken to have to tell her. She is still wide open belly and they have to also repair a valve in her legs they tried to use and it failed.

She could even lose her leg, even both.
