Help Liam rebuild his “dream car”

Donation protected
Please help Liam raise enough money to replace his “dream car”.

This Christmas Liam received a blue Ford Raptor RC car or as he would like to call it, his “dream car”. On Christmas Day Liam felt very sick and was stuck in bed all day long, but it was still very evident how excited and how grateful he was to have gotten this RC car. The minute he started to feel better he basically had the car all set up and ready to use on some jumps. He spend the whole day riding with his dad and going to different stores to see the accessories he can put on the car. Then he used almost all of his Christmas money and every gift card he had to upgrade it. Due to how expensive this car was (if you can’t tell by the goal) it was one of the few gifts he got and he was very content with that.

On January 5th Liam got an upgraded spot in the garage/ kid cave to organize and have a clear space to work on his cars. Before he finished up his work he put a suspicious battery in a fire retardant bag just in case of an explosion. Unfortunately this “fire retardant bag” came with a lot of disclaimers since it stopped no fire. The battery exploded and caught fire in the middle of Liam’s new work space. We are unbelievably thankful and we are praising the Lord for His goodness that my mom woke up to the smell of the smoke and the fire didn’t spread all the way through the garage. Unfortunately it was too late for most of Liam’s things including his brand new RC car.

Liam lost his new work space, all 6 of his older RC cars, his new tools, his play station, his games, and his dream car that he had only be able to use a handful of times. Not only is he sad about his toys but Liam takes the weight of causing the fire and feels guilty beyond words to cause so much damage. No kid should have to go through such devastation.

Liam is no ordinary kid. He is the most positive, bright light, kid I’ve ever known. He sees the glass half full in almost all situations. He is the first person to wake up and ask how he can help and what he can do to solve such a tough situation.

The Lord gives and He takes away, and the fire just reminds us how truly blessed we are to even have things to lose. We are continually counting our blessings, and finding ways to use this situation for the Glory and kingdom of God.

Due to so much financial loss we aren’t able to buy Liam a new RC car at this time and we may not be able to for a while. We are asking for any sort of help to save a kid’s Christmas and repurchase this RC car.

Thank you for all your prayers, and we are ultimately so thankful no one was hurt.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
