Help Lexi Fight Stage 4 Small Cell Cancer

Where We Are
Lexi was recently diagnosed with Stage 4, Small Cell Cancer, an aggressive and rare form that’s turned her world upside down. A new scan has confirmed it is in her cervix and her lungs.

Just weeks ago, Lexi was living her normal life, working hard, creating art, and caring for her beloved dog, Sisko, when everything changed almost overnight. Now she’s facing a fight that no one is ever ready for, and she needs the support of her community to help carry her through the months ahead.

Where We Need To Go
Lexi’s next steps include beginning treatment following her PET scan results, managing ongoing care, medications, and hospital visits, and keeping up with daily living costs while she’s unable to work. She also faces future medical bills that insurance won’t cover, along with the cost of transportation to and from appointments, and ensuring she and her dog have everything they need for comfort and stability during this time.

Immediate Needs & Costs
Lexi has been unable to work for the past several weeks due to symptoms, appointments, and procedures. Her cell phone, car insurance, school payments, car payment, and basic living expenses, groceries, gas, dog food, and personal items, are all now coming due.
Every dollar donated right now helps her stay afloat while she focuses on her health and the next steps in her journey.

Future Exspenses
Looking ahead, Lexi will face medical bills that insurance won’t fully cover, along with expenses for ongoing treatments, prescriptions, and follow-up scans. Thankfully, she’s able to move in with her mom Tracie’s parents, which will help reduce housing costs. Even with that support, there’s still a significant financial gap as her treatment begins, one that this campaign hopes to help close.

Lexi’s treatment and recovery time have now been updated as wait and see. The PET scan has found a hot spot in her lungs, and they are now treating it as stage 4. We’ve set a goal of $50,000 to help cover medical costs, travel, medications, and daily living expenses while she focuses on healing. Any amount helps lighten her load and means the world to us.

About Lexi
Lexi is one of those rare souls who feels life deeply and turns it into art. She’s a writer, a storyteller, and a natural performer who’s been creating worlds with words and imagination since she was little. She pours her heart into everything she does, writing, creating, and finding beauty in even the smallest moments.

Like so many 29-year-olds, she dreams of a full and beautiful life, to build a family, find her forever person, and make a living doing what she loves. Creating is how she breathes. At her heart, she creates, she inspires, and she leaves pieces of beauty everywhere she goes.
Hearing the words “You have cancer” shattered that rhythm in an instant. It’s a sentence no one is ever prepared for, especially someone as full of plans and possibilities as Lexi. The fear and uncertainty are real, and they weigh heavy, but beneath it all, her spirit remains the same.

As a writer, Lexi knows that stories change, sometimes in ways you never expect. But the ending can still be the one you dreamed of. She can still become a mother. She can still find her forever person. She can still live her life through creativity and passion. The how may look different now, but the why, the heart of her story, will never change.

A Story From Dad
Anyone who knows Lexi knows she was born to be an actress, a storyteller, and a writer. I remember going to White Water, our local water park, when she was about 10 years old. She wanted to go down a waterslide, so I went with her. She went first, and then did the most young Lexi thing ever. She decided to reenact a drowning scene from a movie.

From the top of the slide, I realized what she was doing and prayed she’d stop quickly, but in true Lexi fashion, she was very convincing. So convincing that the lifeguard jumped in to ‘save’ her. I met them at the bottom, and we all ended up walking to the office to file an incident report. Honestly, it’s a testament to her acting skills that it all went down the way it did!”

Even as a kid, Lexi could make people laugh and worry at the same time, a mix of drama, humor, and heart that’s followed her ever since.

A Story From Mom
When Lexi was about four years old, my grandma, her great-grandma, or “GG” as we called her, used to watch her while I was at work. GG had a tendency to nod off unexpectedly for short naps, and one day during one of those little naps, Lexi decided to take matters into her own hands.

She picked up the phone, dialed 911, and told the operator, “Help, my GG turned into a zombie!”, then promptly hung up.
Of course, the 911 operator called back, which startled GG awake. When she answered, she had no idea what was going on until she learned what Lexi had done. Needless to say, Lexi always kept us on our toes and laughing with her wild imagination.

Words From Her Sister Ava
Since the day I took my first breath, my big sister Lexi has been by my side, my constant, my protector, and my best friend for nearly 22 years. She’s always been the kind of person who gives her whole heart to the people she loves. Growing up, she shared her world with me, taking me to comic-cons when I was just 10, letting me tag along on her adventures and even her dates, and always making sure I felt included.

Lexi isn’t just my sister; she’s one of the best people I know. She’s loyal, funny, and endlessly supportive.
Through everything, Lexi has been my rock, and now, more than ever, she deserves all the love and support in the world.

Words From Her Sister Isabella
My sister Lexi has always been a force of nature. She’s fiery, passionate, and one of the most beautiful, open-minded souls you’ll ever meet. When she sets her mind to something, she pours her whole heart into it, and I’ve always admired that about her.

Growing up, we were inseparable running wild every summer, attached at the hip. We’d eat honeysuckles in our grandma’s backyard, and while she always had her nose buried in a book, she somehow found ways to pull me into her world too, either by making me read alongside her or by spinning wild stories that only she could dream up. I’ll never forget one summer she convinced me that if a fly ate paint it would double in size. Let’s just say, while we painted outside, I happily served as her personal fly swatter out of pure fear (and maybe a little sisterly loyalty)

That’s who Lexi is someone who brings magic, laughter, and meaning into everything she touches. She makes the ordinary feel extraordinary.

How the Funds Will Be Used
Right now, we don’t know exactly how long this road will be. Doctors estimate that treatment could last up to 24 months. What we do know is that Lexi won’t be able to work during much of that time, and the bills of everyday life don’t pause for cancer.

Your generosity will help lift the weight of those worries so she can put all her energy into healing. Every dollar truly makes a difference.
Funds will go toward things like:
Keeping life steady — groceries, gas, her phone, car insurance, and school payments, so the essentials stay covered while she focuses on recovery.
Medical care — co-pays, medications, treatments, and the inevitable expenses that insurance doesn’t cover.
Getting to and from appointments — travel to Mercy Hospitals and anywhere else her treatment plan takes her.
Comfort and care — small things that bring peace on hard days: nourishing meals, supplies for her dog, and whatever makes long treatment days a little softer.
The months ahead — recovery, follow-ups, and the steps she’ll need to rebuild her strength and independence.

We promise to share updates along the way so everyone who donates can see how their kindness is helping Lexi through this fight. Your support isn’t just financial, it’s emotional, it’s spiritual, and it reminds her every day that she’s not walking this road alone.

Lexi’s Strength in Her Own Words
Just a few weeks ago, I was mapping out my 2026, a year I thought would be filled with film festivals, book releases, and the kind of travel that makes your soul feel like it’s on fire. I had planned to walk through Cannes Film Festival for the first time, see my name on screens, and bring all the stories I’ve been writing for years to life. A myriad of moments I felt were certainties. My plans were stitched with magic, ambition, and an unrelenting belief in what was coming next.

Then everything shifted. A pain that seemed like exhaustion became scans, a diagnosis, and now the first surgery. I’ve learned I’m facing small cell cervical cancer, and my new reality is one of concurrent chemo and radiation treatments. It’s surreal to go from planning a life that felt limitless to fighting for more time to live it.

But I am still here. Unflinching, though not unafraid. I’m walking into this battle with the same creativity, faith, and fire that built my dreams in the first place. I believe in beauty even in the dark, and I’m clinging to that as I move forward.

Every bit of support emotional, financial, spiritual helps me keep standing, keep healing, and keep imagining the future I still intend to live.

A Note From Family
We are so deeply grateful for everyone who has reached out, offered prayers, kind words, and support since Lexi’s diagnosis. Your love means more than we can ever say.

While GoFundMe helps ease the financial strain that comes with treatment, it’s also a place where our community can gather, a central spot to follow Lexi’s journey, celebrate her milestones, and lift her up through the hard days.

It truly takes a village, and right now, that village is helping hold Lexi together. Knowing she’s surrounded by so much love and compassion gives her strength for the fight ahead.

If you can give today, your donation helps cover Lexi’s most urgent bills so she can focus entirely on healing. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this page is just as powerful, every share helps reach more hearts who might be able to help.

In times like these, sharing really is caring. The more people who see Lexi’s story, the closer we get to giving her what she needs most: the peace of mind to heal surrounded by love and hope.
Thank you for being part of Lexi’s story, for believing in her, loving her, and helping her fight for the future she still dreams of.
