Our brother in the paintless dent repair community, Lew, is facing the darkest and hardest chapter of his life. His wife, Hillary, has suffered a sudden medical emergency that left her in the ICU on life support. She’s fighting an active internal bleed, pancreatitis, lupus, flareups, and kidney failure. She has been unable to communicate, and the doctors are monitoring her hour by hour to determine if she needs emergency surgery.

Lew hasn’t left her side.

He sits with her every single day, praying, hoping, and trying to be strong for her and for their two young daughters who desperately need both their parents right now.

What Happened

Just a few days ago, Lew was out of town working a storm in Lubbock, trying to provide for his family like he always does. Then everything shattered overnight. He had to drop everything, jump on an emergency flight home, and rush straight to the hospital.

His truck, tools, camper, and all his work gear are still sitting in Lubbock.

His income has completely stopped.

And now he’s balancing the ICU, hospital decisions, emotional trauma, and raising two young girls on his own while trying to stay strong for everyone.

Lew isn’t the type to ask for help, so I’m taking a risk and doing this on his behalf in hopes he doesn’t get upset or resent me because of it. Lew is hardworking and always the first one to show up for someone else. But right now, he truly needs us.

What the Family Is Facing

• Hillary’s doctors expect a long recovery, including a long-term rehab facility where she’ll need to relearn basic functions like walking.

• She will miss Thanksgiving and possibly Christmas with her girls.

• Lew cannot work while caring for his wife and daughters.

• Hospital stays, rehab, travel, missed income, childcare, and living expenses are already piling up.

• He’s emotionally and physically drained — but he refuses to give up.

Why We Are Raising Funds

Lew is one of us. He’s family to many in the dent world. He’s always been the friend who shows up, checks on others, gives from the heart, and spreads nothing but love and loyalty. As we all know, he will voice his opinion and stick up for others if he feels someone he cares for is being unjustly attacked.

Right now, he needs that same love returned.

These funds will go toward:

• Housing, food, and daily expenses while he is away from work.

• Childcare and support for his two girls.

• Travel and recovery costs.

• The long-term rehab Hillary will need.

• Keeping the family afloat until Lew is able to work again.
