Our family has lived in our current home for over seven years, doing everything we can to provide a safe and loving environment for our son, Levi. Levi has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and has been in a wheelchair since 2016. His medical needs are complex, and we've always worked hard to make sure he has everything he needs to be comfortable and cared for. Unfortunately, our landlord is forcing us out of our home instead of fixing the floors, using a loophole by claiming a relative is moving in. After so many years here, we now have less than 45 days to find a new place. This sudden upheaval is especially hard on Levi, who deserves stability and peace during such a challenging time.

We are trying to secure a first-time home buying loan so we can find a forever home for Levi—a place where he can feel safe and know that his mom and dad will be okay, even when the time comes for him to pass peacefully. The funds we raise will go directly toward a down payment and moving costs for a home that meets Levi's medical needs. Our greatest hope is to give Levi the security of knowing he won't have to be forced to move again, and that our family can stay together in a place that truly feels like home.

Ever since Levi was diagnosed with DMD, we've tried to take care of everything ourselves and not ask for help. But now, because of our landlord, we have no other option. We're a Christian family leaning on our faith, and we're asking anyone who can help or share our story to please open their hearts.
