Help Levi and Lisa Through This Tough Journey

On Friday August 9, 2024, our little Levi celebrated his birthday alongside his brother Gavin. Little did we know, that evening would take a turn for the worse.

On the evening of August 9th, Levi was rushed to Northridge hospital. It was there, on the morning of the 10th, that they discovered a mass in his brain. He was then transferred to Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. On August 15th Levi had brain surgery to remove the mass, and has been there recovering since.

Levi has been fighting like the little Warrior that he is. Lucky for him, his Mom Lisa has been by his side every step of the way. In fact since the evening of the 9th, Lisa has only left his side for a few hours while he was in surgery. It was then that Lisa, after 6 days, was able to run home to hug her other 5 children, and her Grandson. Lisa, being the super mom that she is, has been managing her household from afar, all the while learning how to be a nurse, a physical therapist, and a caretaker for Levi.

I have watched Lisa over the last year make major life changes, all to better her life and her future for her children. She is healthy and strong from all those hours in the gym, and lucky for her that is paying off now! Lisa wouldn't have it any other way, being by Levi's side is where she belongs and is needed the most. However, her absence to her family and children at home weighs tremendously.

It takes a village to raise 6 kids, and lucky for Lisa she has an amazing village. Friends and loved ones have stepped up, and halted their lives. All while embracing the chaos that comes along with getting everyone fed, off to different schools, and after school activities and practices.

Lisa is now facing the reality of being responsible for this lengthy hospital stay and expenses, as well as juggling her home life. The future is uncertain for Levi at this time as we wait to see the results from Pathology and how this surgery will impact his life with rehabilitation etc. Levi deserves the best, and we want yo be able to give him all that he needs. His recovery has been incredibly tough and every donation will truly make a difference in helping manage his hospital expenses, and keep this amazing family intact during this challenging time.
