Hello, my name is Leticia Rodney. I'm 53 years old, and I have four young men and 11 grandkids. I have been battling losing my eyesight for a couple of years now, being a diabetic, and also suffering from high blood pressure.

On July 19th, I went to the emergency room regarding my eyesight. I woke up and was not able to see anything clearly, so I went to the eye doctor emergency room in Miami. I was declared legally blind. I was told I could never drive nor work again and that I needed to apply for disability, which we all know takes up to 6 months to process.

Me having custody of two of my grandkids and my youngest son in college, not working will take a total toll on my life and my ability to provide for my family. I will have no type of income coming in to provide for my family, so I'm setting up this GoFundMe for any type of assistance that I can receive before my disability kicks in.
