Hi friends, family, and generous hearts,

My name is Lesley and I’m a single mom to four incredible kids ages 12, 8, 6, and 2. Life as a full-time parent, part-time student, and someone who’s learning to take care of herself spiritually and emotionally can be overwhelming at times. But recently, I was blessed with the opportunity with a trip through InterVarsity ( A christian campus ministry that helps college students grow in their faith, build community, and connect with God through Bible study, worship, and retreats) like Campus by the Sea.

This for me, was more than a retreat — it was a healing space. A chance to connect with God, with others, and with myself in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. The sound of the waves, the nature, the worship, the community, and the peace I experienced helped remind me that joy and rest are still possible, even for a tired mom.

Now, I have a deep desire to share that experience with my children. They’ve watched me push through hard seasons with faith and resilience. And I want them to experience what I did. A trip that’s not just about getting away, but encountering God in nature, a time to unplug from screens, bond as a family, and create memories we’ll carry forever.

This will be one of our very FIRST vacations together and I know it will be life changing. But as you can imagine being a single mom comes with financial challenges. Between rent, bills, groceries, and trying to go back to school part-time, there’s just not much extra for something like this. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

Our Goal is 3000.

The dates that we are trying to register for is July 21st-26th.

This amount would cover round-trip transportation, meals, camp fees, and basic supplies for myself and my four kids. Every dollar brings us closer to making this dream a reality.
