Hello, my name is Olesya, and I am a U.S. citizen. I am creating this fundraiser to support my sister Lena and her two children.

Due to the war in Ukraine, my sister and her children were forced to leave their home and seek safety in the United States. They are now legally present in the U.S. but are facing urgent and costly immigration filing fees to renew their status and work authorization.

These applications must be submitted very soon. Without them, my sister risks losing her ability to work legally, which would put her family and children in a very difficult and unstable situation. The total cost for government filing fees for three people is overwhelming for her at this time.

Lena is a hardworking mother, doing everything she can to support her children, who are attending school here in the U.S. Unfortunately, despite working, she simply cannot cover all these fees on her own.

I am asking for help on her behalf. Any donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward immigration filing fees and related costs.
