Lena is a 17 year old trans girl who's currently homeless after being

held against her will in the Middle East for six months and escaping back

to the United States.

In September 2025, she was lured abroad under false pretenses with a fake 7-day contract job offer arranged her family members. When she landed, they trapped her by taking her U.S. passport, phone, laptop, and documents.

During the six months after that, she was isolated, tortured, and abused

by her relatives. Her family members subjected her to conversion therapy

,beat her regularly, and laced her food with drugs. It took Lena a lot of

courage to not give up hope. A person in the household that loves her

gave her covert internet access which allowed her to get in contact with

me and devise her escape and the creation of this GoFundMe which we have successfully used to bring her back home.

Lena is struggling her basic living costs while trying to resettle back

home, find work, and get back on her feet.

Here is what she needs:

• Basic living costs while she resettles in the US, finds work, and gets

rebuilding.

Before this ordeal, Lena was software developer and business

administrator. She graduated high school at 15 and she founded her own LLC at 16. She was also working toward a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Additionally, Lena lived alone, paid her own bills, and was fairly independent. She speaks six languages. She loves linguistics, libraries, and cozy cafes. Lena has tangible plans for the life she wants to build now that she's made it safely back home. We're not asking for charity forever, we just need to help stabilizing her living situation so she can continue her life as a successful young woman.
