In a horrible tragedy, Lemban Kaki and his family were victims of a house fire in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Fortunately, Lemban and his family were able to escape in time to save themselves but unfortunately, were not able to save any of their belongings.

Lemban joined GHD's Port Moresby office as a Social Scientist in April 2022. He is a valued member of our PNG team, and is currently involved in a number of significant nation-building projects working with his Australian colleagues in Canberra. His colleagues regularly remark on his humility and cheerfulness, and what a pleasure it is to have him in their team.

Help us raise funds to help Lemban and his family rebuild their lives from scratch. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to helping him and his family.

Please note that because GoFundMe does not allow for donations to be sent to PNG directly, donations will be held in Therese Faulkner's personal bank account, and she will transfer funds directly to Lemban. The plan is to transfer funds on 30 January 2023.
