Help Leesha Secure a Safe Home for Her Kids

Hello. My name is Dana Brown. My husband and I created this Gofundme for my Sister (Leesha Wessinger), and her 2 children (Leland and Hayes Wessinger). Leesha is recently divorced, and a single mother of two beloved children. As a result, they have to vacate their current home. The Family is in need of help to secure a home that is suitable for all the needs of her handicaped child.

Leesha's oldest child, Leland, is medically fragile and requires 24hr monitoring and care. She is now his one and only full time caregiver.

There is waiver money available to Leland. However, Leesha must own the home for modifications to be approved. That narrows the possibilities down alot! She has accessibility to land to put a home on and upon research, it's a whopping estimated 20,000 dollars JUST for the septic tank, water tap, electrical set up cost, and everything else required. The family was not expecting that amount.

We are all praying that God will provide a way! If they are able to make this work, they will be close to family. This will be wonderful for when Leesha needs immediate assistance, as Leland often requires.

We are so very grateful for all that have helped aid monetarily to get Leland to his specialty doctors in Texas. Unfortunately, that had to be put on the back burner due to all of the cost associated with a divorce. Leesha is hoping to be able to make another trip soon, as it's crucial that Leland gets top notch care from doctor's most knowledgeable about Mecp2 duplication syndrome.

The family has a limited amount time before they must vacate their current home. The time it takes for environmental modifications to be approved and then completed can be a lengthy endeavor. Time is of the essence.
