Help Lebanese kids and families

Lebanon is going through one of the worse economic collapse crisis worldwide. The Lebanese Lira has lost almost 90% of its value. Commodity prices have inflated up to 400%. The United Nations has confirmed that the percentage of those below poverty line has reached 55% of the Lebanese population, not to mention that unemployment has exceeded 65%. The governmentally imposed Covid-19 lockdown also led to a paralysis in the market. Nearly 95% of commercial stores were shut for months. Beirut Explosion has also led to an immense effect on the social, economic and psychological states of the population. All this weighed heavily on many social strata that lost their source of livelihood and the lives they once knew to become below the poverty line.

A report by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), warned that "half of the Lebanese population may not reach their basic food needs." People in Lebanon are eating from the trash bins.

We aim to raise $10,000 as soon as possible to be dispersed in the relief of the suffering of those asking for merely their basic human rights in Lebanon, a country that never expected to reach a situation as harsh as today's.

The funds will be sent to AlGhina NGO in Beirut, Lebanon to obtain Kitchen supplies, groceries, meat and cutleries in order for the NGO's kitchen to fully operate and provide cooked meals to families in need.
