Help Leah's Horse Camp For Young Hearts

Hi, my name is Leah Garred, and one day I hope to become a pediatrician. I’ve always had a deep love for both children and horses, and this summer I’m bringing those passions together to create something special: a free horse camp for kids in the Kerrville area.

This camp is especially for children who face challenges- whether physical, emotional, or financial- and who might not otherwise have the chance to experience the joy, confidence, and healing that comes from working with horses. Horses have taught me so much about trust, patience, and courage, and I want to give that same gift to kids who need it most.

I’m currently raising funds to cover the costs of running the camp, including horse care, equipment, insurance, and basic supplies. Every dollar helps make this dream a reality and gives a child a summer experience they'll never forget.
