Layla is a joyful and resilient young girl living with an uncharted genetic disorder that has resulted in intellectual disability and speech impairment. Despite these challenges, she radiates sweetness and finds her greatest happiness at Beloved and Beyond, a special needs camp where she is celebrated for who she is. At camp, Layla is paired with a dedicated one-on-one buddy and shares a cabin with other girls and their buddies, all coming together to celebrate being made in God's image and loved in Jesus. These experiences are more than just fun—they are a source of belonging, confidence, and pure joy for Layla.

Camp is a highlight of Layla’s year. She looks forward to fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, ropes courses, swimming, and especially worship and dancing with her friends. The supportive environment and meaningful activities help her grow in ways that are hard to find elsewhere. Unfortunately, our financial situation is making it difficult to send Layla to the upcoming weekend camp in December, as well as the week-long sessions during spring break and summer. These camps mean the world to her, and missing out would be heartbreaking for both Layla and our family.

We are reaching out for help to give Layla the opportunity to attend all three sessions at Beloved and Beyond. If we reach our fundraiser amount, we’ll be able to send her to all three camps this year. Your support will directly cover camp fees and ensure she continues to experience the joy, friendship, and spiritual encouragement that camp provides.
