Help Lay SGT Gregory Altman to Rest

My father SGT Gregory Charles Cole Altman passed away on April 21 2025 at 4:00 pm in Osceola regional hospital ever sense then I thought veterans affair would help me Cremate my father's body and help me with his funeral expenses but was told they don't do any off that ..they only pay for his plot and reimburse after the fact off his funeral arrangements I have been struggling to pay for his cremation that gonna cost me out of pocket off 975.00$ not including his American flag his burial ceremony on top of all that my dads body still sitting in Osceola regional hospital I truly thought VA was going to help me ...but no I have been getting the run around ...my father does not deserve this at all

He is a soldier off United States army retired 21 yrs ...please help me put my father to rest ...so I know ..I did not fail as his son....thank you ...
