Rachel Davis was just a year older than me, but she always looked out for me like a second mom, especially after we lost our mother twelve years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and even a great aunt to my grandbabies. Yesterday morning, Rachel went to urgent care for what seemed like a simple cold. She received a steroid shot and some medication, but later that afternoon, she suddenly stopped breathing and her heart stopped due to an embolism. Her passing was completely unexpected, and she did not have any life insurance. Our family is heartbroken and unprepared for the financial burden of her funeral.
