Rachel Davis was just a year older than me, but she always looked out for me like a second mom, especially after we lost our mother twelve years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and even a great aunt to my grandbabies. Rachel had a gift for making people feel special—she loved to cook for others and made sure everyone had a homemade cake on their birthday. Losing her son almost two years ago changed her, but she continued to care deeply for her family and friends.

Yesterday morning, Rachel went to urgent care for what seemed like a simple cold. She received a steroid shot and some medication, but later that afternoon, she suddenly stopped breathing and her heart stopped due to an embolism. Her passing was completely unexpected, and she did not have any life insurance. Our family is heartbroken and unprepared for the financial burden of her funeral.

We are asking for help to cover Rachel’s funeral expenses so we can honor her memory and say goodbye. Thank you in advance for anything you can give, and if you can’t, we truly appreciate your support and prayers during this difficult time.
