Hello, I’m raising funds to have a proper burial for my brother, Mariano Cabrera. My brother was at the wrong place at the wrong time, hanging out with friends outside of an apartment complex when there was a drive-by shooting. The violence was not meant for him, but for someone nearby. Mariano was just 35 years old and leaves behind five children—two daughters and three sons. He was one of my two brothers, and we grew up together in Fresno, where we were born and raised.

Mariano was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson. He touched the lives of everyone around him and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Losing him so suddenly has been heartbreaking for our family, especially for his children who now face life without their father.

We are raising funds to give Mariano the proper burial he deserves. He did not have insurance, and sometimes life brings unexpected tragedies that we are not prepared for.
