Help Lawrence lay Mom to rest & growing family

Donation protected
Hello my name is Chelonda & I'm the wife of 10 years to my High School Sweetheart. If you ask me to describe my husband Lawrence. He's the most selfless & strongest person I know. Viewing him from the outside you may presume he's this beefy muscle guy with nothing but the gym on his mind. The truth is he has so much on his mind and it's not even about himself. He has such a huge heart for others, at times he can't stand it.
I know it's a god-given gift of his. Especially when it pertains to our family of 5, mom & sister.

Though he only has two hands to stretch all of those many directions, He gives us all of his most undivided attention. Even after working all day; sometimes working at multiple work sites and taking care of his disabled mother.
Being a present father, working hard to provide and securing generational love by carrying for our most vulnerable loved ones often leaves him distant and exhausted on his time off, easily allowing onlookers to think less of his efforts.
His exhaustion at times seems like laziness. However, there's a lot behind the scenes that my husband dedicates himself to consistently and without fail. His "daily practice" as he calls it; is praying for his kids as he leaves early off to work wishing them a good day ahead, checking in and phoning his mom on his way to work, then caring for her after work (cleaning, preparing dinner, entertaining & consoling her) before he even arrives home to us. He still finds time for wrestling around and telling stories to his children, and still finding time to tuck them in at night.

Lawrence ALWAYS prays to his girls at bedtime giving them a hug and kiss and well wishes for the next day ahead. He takes this opportunity every evening to ask for their feelings, daily discovery or any exploration of emotion prior to finishing with solemn silence, gratitude and prayer over our angels (passed family).
These last 3 years have been very tough. In 2020 We were expecting our 3rd child in April, about to close on owning our 1st home weeks before the pandemic hit. Being displaced & held off from work on base between March 2020 to October 2021, with our finances crippled for over a year, family loss , and battling generational disease; reducing our debt to a fraction of what it was, and even taking time to care for and relocate his mom after she nearly lost her foot.

In 2021 his father passed away. He was so excited to introduce his 1 and only Son to his Dad but never had the chance. The mental decline in Lawrence's motives was so heartbreaking for me to witness. The anxiety & depression was real and if anyone understands what happens when your mental health is being battled, you become very unmotivated, ill, sometimes overwhelmed. Within that time Lawrence found healing through developing a garden and found a newfound love for urban farming and is currently getting experience to qualify for a USDA grant to build and grow a farm for the community's food deserts in the Vegas Valley. my husband developed unfathomable skills; gardening in the desert,

To rebound and rebuild from the pandemic, We had even taken the motive to compress our living. Getting rid of 90% of our possessions moving from 1600 sq ft to now living in a 340 sq ft RV to have less maintenance on a larger home with the flexibility to go on small little trips to get us out with nature & ultimately visiting our grandmother's & family that our kids have never met. To help them learn deeper about our American & family history is our family's prerogative. Reducing allows us also to save up faster to pursue urban farming plans. During this time his mother had become very ill and the time to care for her had doubled, as did the financial demand. Constantly working for and loving his family all while having to transport mom to and from Dr. appointments, pharmacies, and grocery shopping had a grave cost.

Between our home, losing the opportunity to work from March 20' to October 21' and our family providing for mom , Lawrence became engulfed in a fight for HIS life. Fighting with and reversing the very diseases that took his grandfather and father. Having lost 50lbs, alas his efforts to reverse type 2 diabetes and control familial disease has him in his best spirit and energy since we've been married! He managed to not only survive multiple acute illnesses but help rebuild our family values as well. My biggest goal is to reciprocate that love and continue fostering that into our children while developing keys to our health for our family and community.

My husband loves his mother and gave everything he could to support her as her health declined the last few years. We were blessed to have the time with her that we had and so are thankful for every moment. However, from what he explained her lack of preparation for passing has had a pronounced effect on Lawrence. Unfortunately, the Lord called her home February 8th, 2023. With no policy or deed in her name.

We are asking for whatever you feel the Lord wants you to bless us with. This will help Lawrence finalize his Mom's final arrangements getting her properly laid to rest & giving Lawrence some wiggle room to restart fresh with something to support our growing family as we are now expecting our 4th child this Spring. Your financial blessing would bring us so much hope for the future and better allows us to serve our community.

God bless and Thank you in advance for any amount of donation you'd consider blessing. With PRAYER, LOVE AND PATIENCE we know God will guide us along with glory! Thank you!
