Help Laurette, 104, Stay Safe and Cared For
Donation protected
Laurette Quesnel Cooke is a Rock Star of longevity and she is clearly on her own timeline as she is still with us at age 104!
Born February 22, 1921, she is a legend of aging and a Super Senior. Granny, though she prefers Grande Mere, is a centenarian plus, plus, plus, plus.
And she is at the point in her life where she needs financial support. With help, she can stay at her new assisted living facility, The Laurels in Pineville, NC, where she is safe, comfortable, and under the attentive care of VIA Hospice of Charlotte,NC. She was independent living until age 103 and had lived alone for the past 50 years. The move to assisted living in September 2024 was HUGE for her and I just don’t think she has it in her to move again.
It’s true, people live longer now and outliving one’s money is a universal concern. That is especially true at age 104. She stretched her money to age 100+ as any good financial planner would advise.
And then what!?!
I am Elly Cooke, Laurette’s daughter. I am one of five children, three girls and two boys. We range from age 69-84. I’m pushing 70 and I’m the “baby” of the family! So, our mother is our living ancestor. We have rallied as a family to cover the $5000/month cost of assisted living since September 2024. We are clearly all seniors supporting our Super Senior. And now, I ask of you to help support our mother.
Please help fund Laurette Quesnel Cooke to keep her in her current living situation where she is safe, clean, and well cared for.
Go. Fund. Granny.
