Help Lauren Heal ❤️

My name is Barbara Ann. I am very good friends with Lauren Lucia. Lauren has 2 beautiful girls and she's 30 weeks pregnant with a baby boy.

Lauren was having bad pains and went to the hospital to make sure everything was okay with the baby boy. On her way home, she got a flat tire. She drove for about 2 miles on her rim to find the safest place to park her car. While on the side of the road, in the breakdown lane, waiting for her kids' dad to come and help her change the flat tire, she got hit by an 18-wheeler.

Lauren's car is totaled. Lauren is in the hospital where they are monitoring the baby, and she is suffering from a fractured spine and other damaged tendons, several torn ligaments, and bulging discs. She has had a very bad headache since this happened. She needs surgery, but the doctors cannot do it because she is pregnant, and for the surgery, she has to lay flat on her stomach.

Lauren has to wear a brace for the next few months and until she gives birth to her baby boy, and then the doctors can perform the surgery. She is out of work now for God knows how long. She has 2 girls to take care of. Please find it in your heart to help her during this tragic time. She needs lots of prayers and well wishes. Lauren is the type of woman who would take the shirt off her back for anyone. She has such a beautiful heart, and if someone needed help, she would give her last dollar to help.

Lauren is working with maternal fetal medicine specialists, obgyns, trauma, neurology, pulmonary, orthopedic surgeons, and others to handle her care. She is not able to shower or hold her kids or anything over 5 lbs.

Lauren will need lots of physical therapy, equipment, and follow up care when she is released. Some of the injuries are not curable. So she will have to live with some of these injuries for the rest of her life.

Neurology is running tests on her neck, brain, and arteries to her brain to try to target the cause of her constant and worsening headache, back of the head pain, loss of memory, and trouble speaking. The neurologist has Been injecting nerve blocks into her head to help manage the severe pain.
