My dear friends Laurel and Paul Vera are in the midst of a crisis that no one ever wants to face — they are about to lose their home. This hardworking, loving couple have endured some major life setbacks in the past couple of years. Laurel was in a bad car wreck and sustained a traumatic brain injury, which has affected her ability to work full-time and function like she used to be able. She continues to endure multiple health issues.

Currently, Paul continues to press on daily at his full-time job, and Laurel is working as she can. But these circumstances have just been so completely overwhelming for them, and they are so behind — they will lose their home if these funds are not raised by October 8. The total amount needed is $18,311.93. It seems daunting, but I know that nothing is impossible for our Lord Jesus Christ. Once this amount is paid in full, they will be able to get back on track.

Laurel and Paul are such giving souls and have helped so many others over the years, that we as their friends, family, and neighbors have the holy opportunity to help them in their time of need.
