Help Laura Secure a Safe Future for Her Kids

Hello, my name is Laura. I don’t like asking for help, but me and my kids really need it. I’m trying to raise money in order to obtain a Family Law attorney. I am separated from my husband, it was a Domestic Violence situation for me and the kids, and I just need assistance breaking away and getting a divorce, while also maintaining custody of my 4 special needs children (Orion, Phoenix, Lyra, Zara) with autism. I’m estimating $15,000 needed to start because I’m anticipating a long court battle. My husband, my kids father, abruptly left and moved to Connecticut. I asked him about visitation and how he’s going to visit with the kids, he has no plans for that. He did not tell the kids he was moving, didn’t talk with them to ease their anxiety about it, and most importantly, he did not tell them goodbye.

My oldest son, Orion, has been in therapy for approximately a year for anxiety, and his therapist had me come in to authorize treatment plan changes to include PTSD for trauma from their dad. I just don’t want my other 3 kids to end up down this same path.

They are beautifully different children that capture the hearts of many, and they don’t deserve the life they were dealt. I’d like to put an end to the abuse and fight back legally.

I’d just really appreciate any donation, no matter how small, to help me and my kids.
