Help Laura and Andy in This Critical Time

Hello Family and Friends!

A trip to NYC that was supposed to be Andy and Laura's baby moon, birthday celebration for Laura and Father’s Day trip turned into every expecting mothers nightmare. Laura's water broke at only 25 weeks.

The short plan is that we are doing everything in their power to keep baby Chouinard inside and improve the chances of survival and reduce risk for Cerebral Palsy and other long term complications. The goal from here on out is to make it to 34 weeks for a C-section. She is at 25 weeks, so if miracles happen she will be hospitalized for 9 weeks in Brooklyn, NY, as an emergency helicopter transfer back to WNY is not a possibility, as she might need an ER csection at any time.

Of course with Théoden’s care and the dogs, Andy will be traveling to be home with Theó who also have severe autism.

The baby will be going to the NICU immediately upon birth.

They have absolutely nothing done to be prepared as this came so unexpectedly.

All we can ask for right now is prayers to whomever is your higher power for the safety of our Laura & Andy and Théo too as his home care aides have reported that he’s had a challenging weekend, and Andy for all the safe travel, and peace in his heart, as he will have to leave me, and then leave Théo, back and forth, and our pups too- who have also been struggling.

The Chouinard family will need much help and support in the days and weeks to come, but we just are not sure what they will we need yet, we just need baby Chouinard to live and have Laura to be okay.

The funds we raise will help with all the traveling (gas and hotel) meals and care for their son Theó. It will also help with Andy not worry about working during this time and he is needed in so many places at this time.
