My name is Chelsea Brown, and I am a survivor of sever domestic violence—six years of manipulation, isolation, fear, and abuse. I escaped with my son, but not before enduring a level of heartbreak I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’ve lived through sleeping in my car with a newborn. I’ve felt the terror of being hunted down by someone who swore they loved me. I’ve stared death in the face more times than I can count—and I’ve survived them all.
And now, I’m building something for every woman who didn’t.
For every mother who’s been told we cannot help you.
For every child who’s watched their mom cry silently behind closed doors.
For every survivor who feels invisible.

Introducing Warrior’s Way Forward
Warrior’s Way Forward is a nonprofit born from fire—my fire, and the fire of every woman who’s had to rise from the ashes of abuse.
We’re creating a grassroots, survivor-led organization that offers real, immediate help to women and families fleeing domestic violence. No more waiting lists. No more “call back later.” No more falling through cracks that shouldn’t exist.
---
Your donation will help us build:
Emergency transportation when no one else can come
Hotel rooms and essentials when shelters are full
Food, hygiene, and safety kits for women and children arriving with nothing
Connections to addiction recovery and trauma-informed counseling
Second-stage housing built around healing and hope
Legal advocacy, resource navigation, and long-term community support
We’re not just helping women escape abuse—we’re helping them rebuild their lives.

Why This Matters
I was almost one of the women who didn’t make it out.
And now? I’ve reclaimed my voice. I’ve spoken with ministers, police chiefs, women’s shelters, and grieving parents who lost their daughters to abuse. I’m taking my story to the people in power. And I’m not stopping until we build a future where survivors are supported from the moment they say “I need help.”
But I can’t do it alone.
This is about community rising up to protect those who need us most. This is about rewriting what it means to be a survivor.
---
Because this time… we fight forward.
I've turned survival into purpose. Grief into action.
I'm not just asking for change—I'm building it.
One person. One dream. One truth at a time.
