Help Launch Unity Community Of Ashland!

Hi Friends! Rev. Kathy Zavada here with exciting news! We are raising funds to start up Unity Community Of Ashland, here in Ashland, OR. This vision has been growing in my heart since the existing Unity here closed 5 years ago. There is huge interest and excitement! Our plan is to create an inclusive and inspiring sacred space for Sunday services filled with divine music including chanting and singing, meditation, prayer, dharma talks, and heart connection. We are co-creating a place for people to gather to connect, expand consciousness, cultivate loving-kindness, support our youth, and serve the greater community. Our programs will be Unity based and include Interfaith offerings. We plan to expand our offerings to include weekly chanting, grief support groups, workshops and retreats, book study groups, and environmental activist programs.

We've done our homework to create this start-up non-profit, have our articles or incorporation, EIN, pending non-profit status, and we've rented a beautiful building! We have our website, bank account, board of directors, and budget for our first year. We will need $5,200. per month and want to raise 3 months of necessary funds to get us up and running.

We'll use $700. per month for rent, $3,150. for minister salary, $400. per month for our camera crew and sound tech (we'll provide an excellent 3-camera online service as well as in person), $200. a month for our bookkeeper, $200. for website manager, and $550. per month for our music team and choir director.

Can you help us raise three months of funds to get us UP AND RUNNING? $35. would pay for an hour of the camera man. $100. would pay for our cellist for one Sunday. $200. would pay our bookkeeper for one month. $700. would cover our rent for one month. $15.99 would pay for one month's zoom fees. ANY AMOUNT would be so greatly appreciated for this great cause!
