I’m taking the first official step to launch The Remedy – Family Support Center, a nonprofit created to support families before they reach crisis.

The Remedy exists to help families rest, restore, and replenish through resources, respite, and community-based support that can prevent CPS involvement and family separation. This work is deeply personal to me as a mother. I know firsthand how close a family can come to crisis, and I also know how life changing it is when a village steps in at the right time. I had that support, and I want to help create it for others.

Right now, I’m raising funds to cover the upfront costs to file for nonprofit status. This includes state and federal filing fees and required setup expenses. While it’s not glamorous, this step is essential. Without it, I can’t apply for grants, build partnerships, or create sustainable funding that allows this work to grow and last.

I’m inviting my family and friends to help me lay this foundation.
