My name is LaMont A. Sinclair, and I am the founder of the Black Spiritual Magik Market. I am deeply committed to creating spaces where Black culture, spirituality, and ancestral traditions are celebrated and shared. For years, I’ve been part of the spiritual, holistic, and metaphysical communities as a healer, and I’ve seen firsthand how transformative these practices can be for our community.
I started this market because I want to create a place where Black-owned spiritual and holistic businesses can thrive, and where the community can come to learn, shop, receive services, and build meaningful connections with practitioners rooted in Black culture and traditions.
This market is a movement to uplift Black spiritual entrepreneurs, honor our culture, and give our community a space to explore wellness, esoteric practices, and self-discovery in a safe and empowering environment.
The market will showcase a vibrant range of Black-owned spiritual and esoteric businesses, including tarot and oracle readers, astrologers, hoodoo and rootwork practitioners, herbalists and herb growers, hypnotherapists, energy and sound healers, and crystal and ritual supply vendors. Attendees can explore spiritual jewelry, ceremonial clothing, candles, incense, sacred teas, spell kits, meditation tools, and attend workshops with spiritual educators, connecting directly with practitioners rooted in Black culture and traditions.
I am raising funds to make the first Black Spiritual Magik Market a reality at Leimert Plaza Park in Los Angeles, planned for Q3 2026. Your support will help cover:
