We're The Better Living Project CIC — a newly registered community interest company based in Manchester, born out of 12 months of grassroots campaigning that supported over 2,500 tenants in unsafe housing.

Our mission? To help families in social housing understand their rights, access energy grants, and get legal support when landlords ignore serious disrepair like damp, mould, leaks, and unsafe electrics.

Now we’re launching our first community hub and Safe Space — a warm, welcoming centre for:

Workshops, advice, and support

Youth activities and creativity sessions

Over-50s community groups

Mental health & wellbeing support

But we can’t do it alone. We need help with:

Desks, chairs, printers, and basic tech

Setup costs for our support line and drop-in sessions

Starter funding for workshops and reps

Every donation — big or small — helps us build a safe, empowering space for people who need it most.
