Put some Rhythm in your Roots!

Rhythm & Roots Studio is a true community —a place where everyone can walk through the door and feel at home. Inspired by my own journey through mental health challenges and the healing power of movement, music, and art, I want to create a space where authenticity and acceptance are at the heart of everything we do.

Years ago, I lost my sense of self and struggled to find a place where I belonged. It was a group of fellow misfits—my chosen family—who helped me rediscover dance and, with it, my confidence and joy. That experience showed me how powerful a supportive community can be, and I want to offer that same sense of belonging to others.

Rhythm & Roots Studio will offer fitness and dance classes, special playtime adventure classes for stay-at-home parents, daily events partnering with local nonprofits to raise awareness for important causes, and also provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work through gallery events and live music.

One of my core values is to provide and option for steady employment and benefits for artists, instructors, and staff—ensuring that everyone who contributes to our community feels secure, valued, and heard.

My goal is to make this studio a haven for wellness, creativity, and connection—a place where people can express themselves freely, support one another, and nourish the community
